Brockport student government officers took a break from their normal daily issues for some face-to-face — and hand-to-hand — interaction with their constituency.
Numerous officials from BSG took on students and staff in an arm wrestling challenge across from the food court at the Seymour College Union Thursday afternoon.
Prizes ranging from the healthy (vitamin water) to helpful (gift cards) were awarded to combatents after each round of wrestling.
“I think it went really well,” BSG President Darnell Pierce, who was one of the first lines of defense for the walk-through crowd.
Pierce said the event was originally planned to be held at Tuttle North, but had to be moved to accomodate classes.
“I would have liked to face the people from Tuttle, but we advertised there to get them involved,” Pierce said. “I had fun competing with the people at the Union.”
