'It's anyone's conference'

Golden Eagles engaged in tight battle for SUNYAC women's basketball supremacy

Brockport women’s basketball coach Michele Carron has seen a lot in her tenure on the Golden Eagles’ bench, and when she looks at the competition for this season’s SUNYAC title, she said she sees a well-rounded field.

“It’s anyone’s conference,” Carron said after the Golden Eagles defeated Oswego Jan. 18 “We have a lot of parity in the SUNYAC.”

This year, “anyone” could easily be Brockport, even though the Golden Eagles were on the losing-end of a down-to-the-wire conference game with the Potsdam Bears in the first game of their latest road-trip.
