Hangovers tap GPAs, athleticism

Alcohol.  Love it or hate it, you probably have encountered it in your stay at Brockport. An overwhelming 72 percent of the national college population has consumed alcohol in the past 30 days, reports www.alcohol101plus.org. Professor wins award for Vietnam program

Kenneth J. Herrmann Jr., associate professor of social work, received the Certificate of Merit of the Da Nang People’s Committee in January, for his countless contributions in building friendships between Vietnam and America. 

“Ken Herrmann is a great person,” said Nguyen Thi My Hoa, the administrator of The Da Nang/Quang Nam Fund, Inc.  “He is the man who can make the impossible possible. He has brought dozens of American students to Da Nang, Vietnam to learn about this country and also learn about themselves.  He is a dedicated man.” ...
